Exchange ActiveSync for MailCORP

ActiveSync provides the highest level of integration for the latest mobile devices including iPhone/iPad, Android and Windows Phone 7. It is also available on most other mobile platforms.

ActiveSync is able to negotiate changes and updates protocol uses a technology that is often referred to as “Push”. The “push” technology means that changes made on the mobile device are synchronized with the MailCorp server (and vice-versa) without requiring polling.

ActiveSync is also a very efficient protocol and minimizes the amount of data that is sent over the mobile network.

Exchange ActiveSync for MailCorp is licensed per mailbox per annum.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

Differentiators

MailCorp provides other protocols like CalDAV, CardDAV, SyncML and IMAP and these protocols can be configured to provide a similar experience to ActiveSync.

Unfortunately, these protocols do not integrate together to provide the same experience as ActiveSync, and require the configuration of multiple accounts on the mobile device.

In most configurations, the protocols are not able to provide the same end user experience on the device.

ActiveSync, on the other hand, uses a single account to provide access to rich messaging (Messages, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Folders, etc) without needing to configure different services.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]

Availability

The Exchange ActiveSync module is included in version 6.5 (and later) of MailCorp Professional, Enterprise and Premium Editions.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Evaluating

ActiveSync can be evaluated for a period of 30 days. A deployment guide is available to assist you with the evaluation process.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
